How to hide folders and files using file explorer in Windows 10.

In my last article, I had shown “how to hide drives through command prompt in Windows 7/8/10.” Now I want to show you how to hide folders and files through file explorer.

Hide files and folders in windows 10 and 8 is pretty easy compared to Windows 7, XP, Vista. If someone knows about computer little bit then he/she can easily check your hidden files. Therefore, some people prefer tool to lock or hide the files and folders. But, a tool is risky compared to a default setting of Windows 10. If you forgot the password then your all data will be gone in case you are using a free version of the software. But, if you have pro version of the software then you can use ”forget password” to reset the password.

If you want to use the tool to protect your secret folders and files then I will prefer you folder lock. It’s a free tool and easy to use.
